In a moisturising serum, seek for the following ingredients:

  • Aloe vera will serves as a moisturiser, decreasing water loss in the skin.
  • A product induced with hyaluronic acid will retain 1000 times its molecular weight.

Brightening serums

Extracts known to impact melanocytes in the skin are used in brightening serums. Melanocytes are the cells that produce melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour.

The melanin response is inhibited by brightening chemicals, which help lighten melanin inconsistencies in the skin caused by disorders like melasma, hormonal fluctuations, UV damage, or age spots.
